London Academy Rabat will hold Morocco’s first BritFest
On Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th June 2022, London Academy Rabat is hosting the first ever ‘BritFest.’ BritFest will be a summer’s weekend full of outdoor fun, celebrating and strengthening the ties between the UK and Morocco. It marks Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, with the UK’s Ambassador to Morocco, Simon Martin, as the event’s official patron.
BritFest will include: an all-day DJ, dance show, tribute bands, Hit Radio entertainment, pop-up market, kids’ farm, play palace, boxing display, a fashion bazaar, British and international cuisine, and more. It promises to be a special weekend, bringing the best of British to the Moroccan capital.
The festival is taking place on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th June 2022, from 11.00am to 8.00pm both days, at the London Academy Rabat in Souissi, located at the junction of Avenue Mohamed Ben Hassan El Ouazzani and Rue Ketama.BritFest is open to everyone, with an entry fee at the door of 40dhs per adult and 20dhs per child. Kids under the age of 2 years old can come in free of charge.
London Academy Rabat is now in its second year of operation, raising primary and secondary age kids – a mixture of Moroccan and from overseas – in a trilingual (English, Arabic, French) environment. It’s accredited with British Schools Overseas and with Cambridge International Education.
