This multidisciplinary medical caravan comprised a team of 33 volunteers (7 GPs, ophthalmologists, cardiologists, gynaecologists, ENTs, oncologists, paediatricians, radiologists, dentists, pharmacists, biologists and more than 20 nurses).
There were 1,350 beneficiaries: dentists removed 150 teeth, ophthalmologists diagnosed 77 patients and offered pairs of glasses, 72 patients were xrayed, 27 ultrasounded and one patient underwent a surgery.
At the same time, a dental hygiene awareness campaign was conducted for the benefit of 425 school students who received dental care.
